Prohibition of bestiality is a part of Christian doctrine. Give me an example where something what is not part of Christian doctrine but is a part of Jewish doctrine and took precedence in the developement of Western civilization

Your order of precedence is mighty convenient. Your original challenge was directly related to 'New Testament Law' - and then conveniently switch. Here I will help you with 'precedence' - if it is in the TORAH first, 'Christianity' did not invent it.

A.Pole said: No, it is the Law of New Testament combined with the learning of the Greeks and statecraft of the Romans which is the foundation of Western Civilization. Give me one example where the Mosaic Law took precedence before Christian doctrine. Not in the case of poligamy!

A.Pole fails own challenge.

Well, here is another one: the limitation on damages. That, is from Torah. Regardless of station in society (Romans and Greeks are out on that one) - you can receive exactly the same treatment under the Law - and if you owe, there is a value placed upon it... and the value is set - not up to the whims of a judge or jury. It used to apply in our courts.

I've got about a hundred more, but only the ignorant wouldn't know why Moses is on courthouses throughout America. So tell me, do you know why, or is it just some sort of anti-Semitic thing? And before you get defensive, I am not Jewish.

Because the Old Testament is a PART of Christian religion. The founders of USA were Protestant Christians and some of them were Catholic. Jews came at the end of XIX century. And lately the religious images are not being placed in the new government buildings.

So tell me, do you know why, or is it just some sort of anti-Semitic thing?

I do not understand what you are saying.
