Washington did not worship, he believed in "providence" like all Deists...That is a fact of history. Believe what you want, it changes nothing. As far as old Ben Franklin goes, I don't think Christians would have welcomed him into a church. At least not the Christians of today...He was a hedonist.

Do recall Rev. Witherspoon used the term"providence "quite
frequently are we to suppose that by use of the term "providence" one is automatically a deist? Sounds rather gay to me.
