I don't see anything standing in the Rams way.

I can't believe the refs blew that call. I know some die hard Cowboy fans who agree they got away with one on that play.

If the Vikes had won they'd have to gone to LA. Do you think they would have beaten the Rams out there?

I'm still getting used to the Houston Texans. I miss the Oilers.

It's too bad Rozelle didn't force him to at least change the team's name.

The Ravens are going to the 46 Defense this year. They say it will allow Ray Lewis to again roam free sideline to sideline. I know it originated with the Bears, and the Titans use it time to time but I'm not sure if any other teams try it.

The down side of using it is one on one coverage in the secondary with only the safety back for help. With Samari Rolle, Chris McCalister, Ed Reed, and sometimes old man Dion Sanders it could work well barring injuries.

I don't know if that's the way to attack Manning. Stay back in coverage and pound his receivers.

Against other quarterbacks though it could work fine.

I'm not sure or don't remember how the Patriots lined up to attack Manning but it seems like they were in the Dime package or maybe the Nickel package a lot. Maybe it just felt that way because they were all over his passes.

I hear you guys lost Teddy Brewski this year.

They basically rushed three guys and forced Manning to throw short.

Bruschi's status is still up in the air. If I had to guess I'd say he probably won't play this year.

Well I hope he is okay Bruschi's and look forward to facing him soon.

I remember that, the Patriots only rushing three guys up front. I wouldn't try it against Vick to often but Belichick a very smart coach and knows when to use players and plays extremely well. A lesser coach wouldn't have those rings to show off.

They adjust their game plan each week to their opponent. When the play Vick this year I'm sure they'll do the same thing against him the Eagles did to him in the NFC title game.

Hard to say. But the defense that season was made of rocks. We would have had a very good chance.

Well you beat them in the 74 and 76 NFC title games but of course those were in Minnesota. The Cowboys went out there the next week and killed them so I suspect the Vikings would have done the same.

Then they would have faced the Steelers again in the SB.

Well the halftime score was 2-0 when they met in the previous year's SB.

And they held us to some outrageous figure like 11 yards rushing for the game. Hard to argue with that kind of defense!

The Vikes defense kept them in the game until the Steelers scored late to put them away. It was their best showing in a Super Bowl.
