I know where the ark of the covenant is.

Rev 11:19 And the temple of God was opened in Heaven, and there was seen in His temple the ark of His covenant, and there occurred lightnings and voices, and thunders and an earthquake, and a great hail.

In Catholic, Orthodox and (I believe) Lutharan tradition, the "ark of His covenant" is a direct referrence to Mary.

It's located in several bars of gold inside Fort Knox.

"Rev 11:19 And the temple of God was opened in Heaven, and there was seen in His temple the ark of His covenant, and there occurred lightnings and voices, and thunders and an earthquake, and a great hail."

Just because John saw the Ark in the vision doesn't mean it's there now.

The Revelation was primarily about the events of the future.

Using the logic of your post I could say that the resurrection has already happened since John saw it.
