When you go to another country whether it be for business or travel you should seek the welfare of that nation and take a genuine interest in it's history, culture, language and aspirations. I have always done that in my travels and have never got into trouble. I love traveling.

Nonetheless, the judge's threat seems peculiar unless that's business as usual in an Indonesian court of law, in which case hellhole seems an accurate description of that fair land. You seem to have far more appreciation than I do for the idea of sending a young woman to her death - which is exactly what will happen the first time this girl gets raped by some HIV-bearing inmate - in a pesthole for possessing pot.
