Damn that too funny I still laughing see you have bribe with cookies lure them Dark Side LOL!
Except for the fact that he murdered children...yeah, he's not such a bad guy!
hehhehhehheh
heheh
did you pick up on the apron Vader is wearing :)
I think Sen Frist should give them Darkside Republicans. When the Left/Loser Dems start their filibuster that's not a filabusteer cause they won't call it a fillabuster; Sen Frist should call for the vote on the rule change and to get the point across have Dick Cheney come in as someone sneakily starts playing the Darth Vader background music.
*sigh* Please re-read my post.
The children represented puny Liberal ideals getting killed off by powerful conservative ideology.
No, I read it. I just thought it was kind of a stretch.
I've been to a Coulter speach, it's amazing what she does! She doens't even need to use facts or logic... she just makes the Liberals on campus wet their pants.
I still think Palpatine is George Soros.
I disagree with point 5, considering the Sith actually DO believe in a higher power greater than themselves, The Force. It’s kind of a requirement to believe in that if they are to use it. They certainly have more of a claim to actually BELIEVING in a power higher than themselves than the liberals do.
I’m also hesitant to say the Sith were against point 2: elections, considering Palpatine DID get elected legitimately, and seemed to have no problem with getting people to freely choose the Empire and vote it in during a Special Session of Congress. Heck, in the Expanded Universe, he kept his cool even when he LOST elections (and he lost plenty before Episode I occurred). Contrast that with Lenin, when he threw the equivalent of a temper tantrum when his Bolshevik party lost by a very wide margin and just took over the government by force, or heck, even Hitler, who actually threatened suicide with one of his losses and at another point stupidly threatened to sic his Brownshirts on the German populace for three days to cause chaos.
And as far as freedom, didn’t Anakin, or rather Vader, specifically mention “freedom” as being one of the things he brought for the Empire?
As far as dissent, that depends on which kind of dissent you’re talking about. Vader certainly tolerated one of his officers being blunt about how arresting Leia was a mistake in Episode IV, didn’t so much as even threaten to choke him. Now, if by dissent, you mean people rioting a’la Ferguson, then no, the Empire doesn’t tolerate it. Heck, even most Conservatives don’t tolerate that, or at least shouldn’t. Won’t comment on Opposition or Freedom fighters.
