Exactly so.

It was really funny when the host asked her a question. [There seems to be a distinct pattern to host questions!] After her praise of McCain, he interrupted his guest's attempt to respond to her, by asking who she liked for president in '08. I'm sure he expected to hear more praise of McC. Instead, without a second's hesitation, she said "Wesley Clark" and he had to remind her that he was asking about '08.

A professional, take charge, host, would never put he,herself in a position of being "asked" a question, sounds like a rookie.
