Oh really? Care to share a couple of those sources with me? You have no idea what you are talking about! You have no idea of the hiring processes in big plants and you have no idea how restrictive the privacy laws are in this country that virtually hancuff the employer at every turn.
Furthermore, with a copy of your birth certificate, whiteout, black ink and a xerox machine I can change you into a female, add 10 years to your age and prove you were born in Miami instead of Houston and there is no way any employer could dispute it.....
Most of the birth certificates I have seen have been issued by the city of detroit and were photocopies made from micro-fiche files. In many cases you were lucky if you could even make out the actual dates of birth.....
THe system need to change. Illegals need to be deported and those that hire thme need to be jailed. Period.
You are making a common mistake of many people. Instead of seeking solutions (besidesemploying illegals) you are just making excuses for why you cant do whats legal. I learned a long time ago to always focus on the solution instead of the problem.
But you go ahead and contribute to the balkanzation of America. Its the big employers like you who should be leading the fight.
Chek for a embossed seal. Many real issued birth certificates have that.
