You should not take the anti immigrant comments on FR at face value.
The anti immigrant comments are often ginned up arguments against mexicans when in reality, the posters are against mexicans because they speak spanish, are of a darker color than themselves and seem "culturally" different.
If the mexicans were of northern european descent and english speaking and more like them culturally, you would see an outpouring of compassion to help and aid the poor unfortuneate souls.
This attitude is out of fear that they are losing control as the native european population has dropped from about 90% of the population to about 70%.
Fear brings out the worst in people. Fear gets you witch trials. Fear is what you see in the current democrats turning to Howard Dean. Fear is why Jesus was cruxified. Fear is not a good emotion.
I was refering to the idea that the IRS is sending employers notification of illegal or wrong numbers. The IRS is solely interested in collecting taxes, they're more likely to go after an employer for using too many subcontractors who they feel should be employees than hassle with illegals.
Fear also makes some paint with a broad brush. Overcome.
