McCain is trying to weaken and take out a rival for 2008, at the expense of conservatives of the Republican Party.
He will weaken Frist, and tarnish Frists image with his back door shenanigans (Which BTW go against the revered traditions of the Senate)
He will then Bolt the party and run as an Independent against a weakened Republican field and Hillary.

What the hell is going on ..?? If John thinks this is how a President acts - he's got another think coming. Roberts-R chair of the senate intel committee - SAYS THE INTEL COMMITTEE HAS ALREADY SEEN THE DOCUMENTS - the very same ones Biden and Dodd are hollering about not being able to see. But .. only the top 2 committee members are ALLOWED TO SEE THIS STUFF FROM THE NSA - and where do these other dems come off pontificating that they HAVE TO SEE THIS STUFF - is just arrogance and an abuse of power beyond anything I've ever seen.
It's time for the repubs to take back their power and to hell with what the dems say.
