Indonesia was a moderate Muslim majority state in the 1970s when I lived there during the Suharto regime. You could buy pork, drink alcohol, and go to nightclubs and bars. There were churches and practicing Christians. I suspect that still exists today despite the ascendency of the radical Muslims. There are many influences on Indonesian culture, which is diverse and rich.
