did the state department site national security as their reason?

"“I don’t think we’re stiffing anybody here,” State Department spokesman Tom Casey said. “We feel we’ve given all of the information that’s required under those circumstances.”"

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7775160/

all i'm saying is give them some papers, black out what you don't want them to see, send them 800,000 pages when they only requested a few, let them sort through it.

they made a move that delayed this longer and in some folks mind plays out like the whitehouse is being obstructionist! the longer it goes on the more people get uncomfortable and could turn tail and vote against him.

get a clue.

It's the same excuse they gave for holding up Miguel Estrada.

There was some internal Justice Department documents that they KNEW would never be turned over.

That is what gets me so riled up. Every time the get away with one of their tricks, you can be sure they'll try it again.

And damn if it doesn't work again!

Fool me one, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me!

From your link:

Dems allege preferential treatment
The State Department and the U.S. Agency for International Development have turned over about 500 pages of documents to the committee, including e-mails, memos, telegrams and drafts of speeches, according to figures from the State Department’s congressional affairs office. Various intelligence agencies have provided about 125 pages of documents.

The information was already provided with some names blacked out. That's what they've been complaining about. Have you actually been paying attention?

You're the one that need's to get a clue.
