He's no fan of Don Bauder, who used to be business writer for the Union-Tribune, but he said when Bauder is right he's right.

I think what got Roger's goat was that Bauder is highly critical of giveaways to rich sports team owners, and badmouthed the downtown ballpark. Roger was in favor of it, as I recall.

Possibly. Roger said on the show yesterday that he's not a fan of Bauder because Don was highly critical of him when Roger's mayoral scandal hit and he was forced to resign.
