Coincidentally, I'm acquainted with a Lebanese Christian lady. She was born in Connecticut but has many relatives in Lebanon and travels there every two years. She's politically ultra conservative, but doesn't care about the illegal alien issue here in L.A. or anywhere in the U.S. for that matter. So, I think you're spot on when it comes to allegiances.

I'm a farmer at heart due to my Pennsylvania Dutch heritage, and a fierce fighter, yet spiritual, due to my Irish heritage. I love this land, my country, my home sweet home. But L.A. doesn't look anything like it.
