Under the current Senate rules definition of filibuster, such is not needed. But you knew that, didn't you?
I don't make the rules but I must live by them. At least in MY world.
No law dude, I did not know that in order to have a fillibuster a senator does no longer need to do a "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington" fillibuster. TOO BAD! They should have to stand there and read the D.C. phone book as long as they are physically able, as soon as they are not able, strike the gavel AND CALL A VOTE!
