You're right, but it has to play that way. One deficiency that the admin and the GOP has consistently had is getting their message out (an obstacle that the left almost never has).
That the agreement with the dems was worthless since it was based on their good will (a tough sell), is clear to most of us.

Excellent observation, and very, very true. This "political party" abandoned whatever principles it had a long time ago. It exists only to make liberals and leftists feel good about themselves.
