I think the democrats are slapping their foreheads and going
"DOH!" when they realize that the only chance they have
for the complete socialization of our nation is in a
war time situation. Hence, the concerted efforts to undermine a republican President, party, and nation.

Hillery! must wake up every day and think, "God, we had it!
We were so close! Now look how we are having to struggle
just to keep our heads above everyone elses."

She hasn't given up, and WE CANNOT ALLOW HER to SUCCEED.

Because Frist voted against the Motion (to set up the Motion to Reconsider) rather than for it. So the true vote was 57 to close debate, I was off by 1, since 3 votes are now required to be added.

"Mr. Dodd said he actually supports an up-or-down vote on Mr. Bolton, but is being forced into a filibuster as a protest against the administration."

There it is..."protest against the administration."

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that while the senate is in recess, President Bush goes ahead and puts Bolton on as ambassador. He'd only be there for a year or so, but at least Bush would've taught the senate a lesson. And, who knows, Bolton might do a good job in that year.

"Anyone know anything about these documents they say they want..."

Whatever they are, the senate isn't privy to them. And the White House said they are not going to let the Rats get their hands on them.

" He'd only be there for a year or so..."

If a good, solid conservative Republican wins the White House in 2008, the new president could renew Bolton's appointment, and he could end up being one of the longest serving U.S. Ambassadors to the U.N. in history. Now THAT would be delicious payback to these creep Democrats!

Prepare to witness Teddy Kennedy swinging from some bongo-bongo tree like a fat gorilla, if all of the above comes true (.......with Condi as President of the United States of America! HooAH !!)

Char :)

Let them filibuster! Perhaps this will persuade any nieve senators (Graham?) that they made a mistake.
The constitutional option can still go into effect people!

I, too, would filibuster Michael Bolton. John McCain wouldn't.

Yeah, McCain would probably support Michael Bolton. So would Voinovich.

Don't hold your breath. It seems the polls show that the majority of the "secular" Rats will vote for Hillary...IF Peter Paul or Pirro don't knock her out of the running.

Hopefully, Peter Paul will prove Hillary's culpability in the campaign fraud.
