O'Reilly wasn't really much of an advocate for Patano.

He more or less just told the story, and said that he thought Patano should be cleared.

What he did not do...which he should have done...was hold the man up as a hero.

O'Reilly wasn't really much of an advocate for Patano.

He might not have went as far as you like. And I personally don't like O'Reilly. But he did think enough of this story and that Marine to put it on his TV show. And O'Reilly and any other person out there that made anyone aware of this story should be commended.
