I think Stedman is way more conservative than she is... just my suspicion.

Methinks Oprah has been hitting the pipe again. She sure as hell hasn't been hitting the mark...

In the Palentinian summer camps this is what they teach the little boys:

They bring out a basket of little puppies and each little boy is taught to strangle the puppy until it's dead. While the little boys are strangling the puppies .. they are taught to sing this song: This is the dog the Jew and this is what I can do to the dog the Jew.

The girls get a slightly different version. They get to cut off the head of a snake with an axe. While the little girls are cutting off the heads of the snakes .. they are taught to sing this song: This is the snake the Jew and this is what I can do to the snake the Jew.

This is the kind of indoctrination and brain washing which the Arabs perpetrate upon their children. This is not a loving parent .. this is a monster.

Appalling. I read some posts here on Free Republic, where people are advocating "nuking them." How do you "nuke" a vicious viral ideology that has infested over a billion people spread everywhere in the world?

Stedman has had years and years to "wise up". Why he's been hanging around Okra for so long a period of time is beyond me. Evidently, he has his own money, so that's not it.

It's a strange relationship, that's for sure. Maybe he's her beard. Or she's his beard. Or they're both beards for each other.

I need a beer.

"Also, she makes a huge deal of giving to charity, to guests and the needy. It rubs me the wrong way. Giving in public does that."

Remember when she gave away 100 cars or so to each audience member. I'm not sure whether she revealed the fact that these were donated by GM or Ford but my understanding is that she played it as if it was coming out her pocket. If she did mention it was a gift from an auto manufacturer it was not apparent in the first stories I saw reported. Only after some questioned the gift did the truth get reported.

Correct me if I am wrong.

"Yeah he's back on television 9 am eastern standard during the week. Very good show. "

I listen to Larry every day and unfortunately he revealed that the show wasn't picked up for a second season.

Yeah it is a shame. Larry was totally cool about it. On the same day he announced it was a Friday when he has a quote contest using soundbites. The prize - "A soon-to-be-valuable Larry Elder TV Show t-shirt."

You are right, the people also had to pay taxes on the gifts. I heard that one of the recipients of a house on Extreme Makeover home edition, is now unable to pay the fire insurance and property taxes. I guess you can move people out of the poor house, but you cannot change their hearts and habits.

"Oprah cannot be denied. In a humanistic world call her Queen Oprah. She knows where all the buttons are and she makes her living pushing them."

That about sums it up. She's the Queen of Middle-Brow, i.e., women who read the women's magazines and maybe Newsweek and watched "Sex and the City" think they're smart and modern and liberated and thinking just the right thoughts. Oprah has a good feel for knowing just how far ahead of this group she can go without going too far. She has to be a LITTLE ahead of the group to be perceived as the Guru, but not so far ahead that she loses them.

I don't feel pity for a psychopath mass murderer. I feel only hatred and contempt for his foulness and only wish his name be blotted out from under heaven. Excuse me if I reserve my compassion for the husbandless widows and fatherless orphans of 9/11. I do get it - not just how the hostess of daytime talk would like me to. There's a difference between evil and good and one of life's lessons is hatred of evil is a holy thing indeed.
