This is a wonderful report !
I always wonder how one can send items such as these to the troops , if it is your own small idea and you are not part of some organization ?
I am always hearing of these great civic actions , often initiated by big hearted children.
Who does one contact ? How to send such donations ? and to where?
I think all actual unit location is classified , as well it should be , but how do these kids know where to send things?
I am genuinely curious !
AA Ping!! Nascar PING list!
Dad? Mom? Brother? Cousin? Uncle? Aunt? Those would be my first guess. The next would be a service member is a neighbor or goes to the same church and the bright lad/lass asks a question.
Shameless plug. :)
Come see us at ProudPatriots.org
We currently support several dozen units, ships, and individual soldiers, sailors, marines, airmen, and coasties; our list is constantly growing. We can't give out the addresses, but we do send care packages constantly.
We also run 6 special operations annually that coincide with the holidays. We invite schools and churches/synagogues to take part in sending cards and letters.
