That's understatement. And I say as a Ohio Republican who voted for these clowns because "they weren't Democrats" or so I thought at the time.
Ken Blackwell for governor would be a step in the right in direction.
I think Norm Coleman and the good old boys will take care to cover for one of their own (especially the chair of the senate ethics committee as someone pointed out to me on this thread) but Bolton has a reputation for HONESTY. What if they can't control him? As p.o.'d as Bolton has to be at all these a**holes for the roasting they've given him (and the Republicans silence) he could be a loose cannon once he sees some of the goods. I think the Democrats are covering for 2 former presidents (and maybe some others like Bonior, McD, etc.) but Voinovich surely has something he wants covered up too for him to behave like a looney (unless he is developing a case of Altzheimer's like Jeffords.)
that would be anyone that eats the tuna salad in the capitol cafeteria.
Thanks for the ping!
I'm afraid to ask...but did this wimp just win a re-election? Are we stuck with him another 5 1/2 years???
Where is the mandatory barf alert on anything by Helen Thomas.
Take it from a lifelong Clevelander - this is nothing new for Voinovich.
He's been crying publicly at various times since he was mayor here.
He credits his emotionalism on his Slavic upbringing.
