They voted yesterday 81-18 to invoke cloture, that is, to cut off any filibuster. Today's vote was to actually confirm Owen to the bench.
A lot more Senators voted for cloture than were in on the 'deal'. Curious how so many that found Owen to be extremely dangerous have flipped.
