500 jobs for people that LOVE to hunt and fish!! President GW Bush stopped at their store during the campaign. They paid him back by building a store that will draw 4,000,000 visitors. Life is good.

They are getting ready to open a new store just south of Austin also. In Buda or Kyle, not sure which. Can't wait, I've never been to one, but have heard lots about them.

Do they have any guns? Last I heard, they let the gun inventory walk out of a self-storage locker.

I love the Cabela's in Hamburg, PA. It's about a 2 hour drive from where I live but only about 25-30 minutes from a store I service once a week and if time permits I drive over to the Cabela's.
The prices are a little higher than Gander Mountain (30 minutes from my house) but Cabela's has a lot more merchandise and the fish aquariums and stuffed wildlife scenes are amazing!

They put one in on I-70 just east of Wheeling in the WV panhandle last year. I haven't stopped yet, but will have to soon.

Drove by their store off I-70 near Washington, PA a couple of weeks ago. Huge facility, unfortunately I missed the exit and still having a long distance to drive didn't double back ... next time I'll stop.
