You seem to be defending Bush from the charge of a "do-nothing" President. But that's an argument for the Dems; this is a "conservative" forum. It's not what he's "not doing" (except for the border); it's what he has done.

Besides that, much of your list was filled with empty platitudes and mindless cheerleading.

It's not "my" list. Didn't create it and I certainly don't agree with - and won't defend - everything on it. But I think there are enough items listed (and included within the thread) that most conservatives - including those on this forum - would and have supported.

I was responding to the author's original proposition that we are experiencing the "worst president ever" and we should "prepare for slavery". Almost so laughable as to defy a response. I'm not saying Bush is the best ever, just looking for a little perspective and contact with reality.

That being said I personally believe that "the government that governs least governs best." My personal preference would be for much, much less government.
