Here's Three:

One: President George Bush has not distinguished himself by fighting for his judicial nominees.

Two: The United States Senate gave up its legislative power to the federal courts; now the Senate proposes to usurp Presidential powers.

Three: Previous Presidents have called Senators over to the White House and 'jawboned' them with political goodies to get them to support their agenda.

GW Bush submitted all the nominees he could (some had quit) a second time after they had been filibustered...He encouraged and continues to encourage the Senate to give an up or dorn vote to ALL nominees

Neither the Republican Party , GW Bush or most of the Senators had anything to do with the agreement formed by McCain and his Merry Band

Three: Previous Presidents have called Senators over to the White House and 'jawboned' them with political goodies to get them to support their agenda.

In all probability Bush had the votes he needed to go "Nuclear"
