The truth is, from a strictly fiscal spendaholic standpoint, it has already been cast in concrete that George Bush is the worst president we have ever had.
Note my tag-line. I am not a "basher". I voted for Bush twice as the "lesser of two great evils" but the FACT is Bush has out LBJ'd even LBJ. Bush is a fiscal socialist who also happens to refuse to guard our borders.
Just think--the RATs are even worse. What does this tell you about the state of the union?
The filibuster cave-in proves that we conservatives have no representation in Washington.

President George Bush has not distinguished himself by fighting for his judicial nominees Yeah but he fought like hell to pay back MBNA for their campaign contributions with the bankruptcy bill. And he is so NICE to Bill Clinton and Ted Kennedy. Poppa Bush even gave a medal to The Swimmer after he called his son the Prez a liar on the floor of the Senate.
What a NICE FAMILY! They're so NICE. Too bad Harry Reid and Schmuck Schumer are not. Reid wants to "rush" a vote on the stem cell bill, but it takes 4 years to confirm Prescilla Owen. But Bush wants to GET ALONG with everyone and make up pet names for them and pat them on the back. He can't very well play hard ball with them over judges. That would be RUDE.

As Rush said, if we can't control the judiciary while controlling the Senate, House, and White House, then we will never control it. W has only two and a half effective years left. He and Frist had better make good one way or another.
