Agree...and for me, McCain is the Rhino of all Rhinos (to go along with Olympia Snow).

But the discipline should be handled "in house," with as little media attention as possible (good luck, there). We don't need another third party Perot taking conservative votes away in 08...we could wind up with another Clinton...Ugh.

Something has to be done, so that the next senator thinking of making a RINO move knows there will be consequences and will stop in his tracks. But we can't abandon the party.

Frist needs to use a scalpel, not a sledgehammer, on these folks. Rhetorically, of course.

As a doctor, he should be skilled in doing that! :)
