No, of course I would not support my neighbor's house being robbed. There is a difference between an armed robber and the government. An armed robber is a criminal who steals from citizens indiscriminately. The government is taking money from everyone legally to support our country and its interests. We can change what our government does through our votes. We can't change what a criminal does until the legal authorities apprehend him and he is prosecuted in a court of law and found guilty by a jury of his peers and sent to prison.

That's not really as much of a distinction as you may think. If 10 people approach you on the street and "democratically" decide to relieve you of whatever you have in your wallet, I don't think you'd consider that a valid transaction.
