LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (AP) Runaway Bride Jennifer Wilbanks is indicted with making a false statement and reporting a false crime.
Many threads ago, someone posted a link to her false sexual assault report. It was an elaborate, detailed hoax and implied a degree of premeditation. IMO, she should be charged with filing a false report and pay restitution to all involved.
Well, she's used to doing some time, from what I've read. Weekend retreats behind the bar(s) for sticky fingers are in her past....
I'm afraid I just don't see the point of this. Yes, she made a lot of people waste a lot of time and energy... this is just more waste.
MUST give this ex-con hard time. If this was a guy they would be castrating him.
Nooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can sense that some take great delight in seeing this woman indicted. As a former prosecutor, I can tell you that this is a pretty chickens#&t indictment.
Aside from the sums spent in the search effort -- please tell me who was harmed here? It's a victimless crime.
At a time when there are real crimes (e.g., rape, murder, robbery) being committed across the country, our collective focus needs to be placed on those quarters that deserve our attention.
The plague of sexual predators stalking our children is but one example.
In the end, this woman will likely make a plea -- and receive a misdemeanor. In the end, much ado about nothing.
Focus your attention on something that really matters.
Nice sense of humor.
Did that guy ever get any money for that?
What the hey is she totin' under that blanket? Someone actually gave her a *security stuffed animal* to help her through the horrible ordeal??
HAHAHAHA .... GREAT!!!
And what should be District Attorney Danny Porter's punishment for wasting taxpayer dollars prosecuting a case that he knows or should know the courts will dismiss for reasons that should be obvious to even the most simple of simpletons. (Here's a hint: According to the Fox Report, the the grand jury in Georgia has indicted her for allegedly making false statements and reporting a false crime to LEO in the State of New Mexico, which is not a crime in any place other than the State of New Mexico.)
LOL...
LOL!! I love it!
