"I'm afraid I'll have to call you on that point. He was a POW and EARNED every promotion and award that he got in/from Vietnam. As a Senior Ranking Officer in the POW camp he comported himself most admirably and valorously. Pick on his politics and ego as a politician, (Lord knows I and many Vets do) but please, not his patriotism by stooping to DU level calling him a traitor."

I read that he brought down four planes during his service, all of them American.
