The interesting thing is that Manhattan is headed in the exact opposite direction. The number of "Yuppie baby" toddlers is exploding. In fact, New York county (Manhattan) was the only one in the state to gain white, non-hispanic 0-4 year olds from 2000-2004 - up 24% by my calculations.

Link please?

Link please?

WARNING! Link is to a 7.5 MB CSV File
(Actually not a big deal if you have broadband)
http://www.census.gov/popest/counties/asrh/files/CC-EST2003-alldata-36.csv

I loaded it into SQL server and did the analysis.

This gives you the layout of the file. http://www.census.gov/popest/counties/asrh/files/CC-EST2003-alldata_layout.txt
