Welcomed back to the fold

With a hammer, pliers and baby bottles filled with blood, Carol Gilbert and two other Dominican nuns defied America's military might three years ago, cutting through a fence to paint red crosses in blood on a nuclear missile silo in Colorado.

Released yesterday after 33 months in federal prisons, Gilbert returned home to Baltimore and a potluck dinner party thrown by friends. Her only regret is that she was locked up during the war in Iraq when peace protests were at a peak.

"I would do the same thing all over again," she said during the dinner at St. Peter Claver Church. "I know we acted legally, morally and with great love."

She and her moonbat cronies should be thankful they were not shot on sight. Tampering with ICBM silos is inviting no less.

The quality of nuns has gone downhill dramatically since the passing of Mother Theresa.

These people should have been having their conference in the Trade Towers on 9/11.

Yeah, sure, sister. Your illegal act changed nothing, except that the taxpayers put you up for 33 months.

Next time, why not try this in China where they have ICBMs controlled by pagans. Hmmmm?

Curious as to where they got the blood.

And I guess these nuns forgot that scripture admonishes us to obey the laws of the land (unless of course, the law is requiring something like bowing down to an idol).

Maybe she should take her protest on the road, say to Tehran and Pyongyang.

That's a Blessing.

In the good old days, "nuns" like this would be laicized for bringing disgrace on their order.

The "good sister" should go after the abortion mills where over 40 million have been killed compared to the ICBMs that are sitting around.

But then again, that would not fit in with her "mentality" of social justice.

And didn't learn a thing. I would have to assume that she and the rest of her moonbat friends are really into rape, sodomy, torture and child abuse - at least if her buddy Saddam does it. Her rationalization is disgusting and inane. Just what the Church needs more fools chasing the media for attention.
