Perhaps not. The fight is just a bit different now. In terms of sheer numbers, Rush has probably done more than all of those fine folks combined, with respect to spreading the word of conservatism.

And since it's a "kangaroo court" mentioned, it's done by the Mets themselves.

Some examples - failure to drive in a runner from third base with one outs is a $10 "fine". Striking out with the bases loaded might be $15. On most teams in my experience, the money goes into a party fund at the end of the season.

Basically, you can be "fined" for any old thing.
