So true. There seems to be something in the genes of some public people that causes them to lose all reason and sense when any TV camera starts rolling. And that makes McCain a very bad choice for President. The ability of the MSM to have such a hold on a President would be bad news for America.

McCain is not going to run as a Republican. He has NO chance of getting enough Republicans to vote for him. I would not be a bit surpised if he joins with Clinton.

And why didn't the GOP Byrd-brains demand the same kind of explicit "extraordinary circumstances" opt-out for the constitutional option that the Democrats got for the filibuster? Everybody and their cousin knows that, three months down the road, these same Dems will threaten a filibuster and these same GOP Byrd-brains won't have the guts to react accordingly by exercising their majority status power.

I am already at work to raise funds and organize people to remove McCain from office at the next election (along with the other six RINOs). I am beyond bothering contacting the offices of these seven. They do not exist. I won't waste my breath on them, I will however target them with every possible resource.

This is but an extension of Mc/Feingold. His sour grapes in 2000 all but cost that election, when after the primaries he continued to hammer for campaign reform. He has never gotten over the 2000 loss and now is taking other RINOs with him.
We would have been so much better off if he had run with kerry.
