we still need to get to 60, or as close to 60 as possible, in 2006. This means: winning in Nebraska etc
Allowing Nebraska Dem Sen Nelson credit for this compromise just guaranteed his re-election in 06; Nelso thus avoided voting on the nuclear option and compromising his "prolife" stance here in Nebraska. NIce Job RINO Sens

Would that matter? What have the Republicans done with the 55 we gave them this election?
The Republicans need to prove now that they:
(1) are committed to actually enacting a conservative agenda and not are just talking about it, and
(2) are willing and able to discipline its dissident members to prevent them from subverting that agenda.
Without those, no number of nominally "Republican" Senators will ever be adequate. They'll be telling you in 2007 to give more money so that they can get the 67 Senators they need to accomplish something.
My message to GOP "leadership":
- No more "bait and switch"
- No more talk without action
Show me now that you are worthy of my support. Not tomorrow. Now.
Confirm every single one of the nominated judges. No exceptions, no excuses.
