I agree. I think the only election in which I ever failed to vote was one in which John Warner was running for re-election. I just couldn't stand to vote for him, and wouldn't vote for his opponent, so I didn't vote. It really bothered me not to vote, but these RINOs give you no choice. I just wish the Republicans would learn their lesson, but they never do. They didn't learn from Jeffords, they didn't learn from Specter... I am hoping maybe George Allen can change that course of action as the point man on GOP Senate elections (I forget the actual title of that position). And not to be petty, but to me one of the worst parts of this compromise is having to see John McCain on the news.... I am disgusted but trying very hard to see a silver lining in this cloud.
George Allen is no longer NRSC Chairman, as he is up for reelection in 2006. Elizabeth Dole's the new gal in that post.
