Republican's will gain seats in the Senate and the money will flow into GOP election coffers to break the power of moderates. You must not have heard the anger and the depression last night.
Nobody's giving the republicans JACK.
They can't manage what they've gotten already.

Why not just send your money to Howard Dean?
Politics needs strategy, not tragedy.
You don't give moderates more power, you take them out!

Yep. They have 55 seats and they couldn't even do the principled thing. The Senate Republicans pine to be back in the minority. By all means then, let's grant them their wish next year...

Nobody's giving the republicans JACK. Most of the anger and depression comes from the letdown. We all showed up for a fight, but the fighters kissed and made up before fight time. That was always a possibility, we just didn't know what form it would take.
I haven't given to the Republicans in ages. I do give to individual candidates (not RINOs) and advocay groups, e.g. Swift Boat Veterans for Truth.
Be patient. The DEMs can't resist being naughty. The obstructionist tactic of refusing to vote on a nominee is bound to come up again. If the GOP leadership looks the other way the next time, then we'll know the part of the Constitution that deals with nominees has been betrayed by the GOP.
