Three of my favorite legislators have been doctors - former rep Durward Hall, current rep Ron Paul, and Current senator Tom Coburn.

Nothing against doctors, but most of them don't make very good politicians. Dr. Coburn(R) newly elected Senator from Oklahoma, may not be a good politician, but he will make a He11 of a legislator. Already in trouble with the leadership. He is not a go along to get along guy, honered his promise to term limit himself from the house.
