I'm thinking about it. He's still a friend, and I still think he's a conservative at heart. I've talked with him heart-to-heart and come away with a good measure of the man. I think he likes playing tie-breaker in these things because it puts him on center stage, and he's always loved being on stage. And he's not the kind of guy to take a personal poll about what other people think. He'll call you to beat him and concede graciously if you do.

I guess what I'm saying is, I don't mind sharing some personal insights with a few FReepers of good faith and discretion via FReepmail, but I'm not ready to go beyond that yet.

BTW, I have some great background info from the Monicagate era. I might share it someday. ;-)
