Rehnquist might not make it to retirement. He made an unexpected visit to the Capital medical department today. The Court does not have it's own doctors, just a couple of nurses, and folks at the Court often use the Capital medical department, which is only a long block away from the SC Building.
The Dims probably have a back door deal to nominate one of the two empty positions. Watch and see if there is one conservative appointed and one friend of Ruthie.
