I think Frist just lost the 2008 primary though. The nuclear fans feel like he lost control, the "moderates" think that they have wrestled power from him.

Put a fork in Frist, he is done. No judgements being made by me, just hard political reality.

Frist has less than NO chanced of winning the '08 presidential primary. He and Pataki were just utterly delsusisonal, about even entering the primaries. This just sealed his fate in a very large way.
