For the life of me I don't know why the Republicans caved in to these Rats. What or who are they afraid of? Howard Dean?
They are afraid of their "friends" in the media. And they hate Christian conseratives. I remember when John McCain had a complete meltdown over the base not supporting him. It's payback. Fine with me!
This reminds me of former Kansas City Chiefs coach (and current San Diego Charger coach) Marty Schottenheimer, when coaching a Monday night game against the Raiders. The Raiders had a lead, were caught by the Chiefs, went to overtime, got possession, and had to punt.
Well, at the time, the Chiefs had this devastating kick/punt return specialist named Tamarick Vanover. Everyone kicked away from this guy...everyone, except for the Raidahs. They kicked to him, and he ran it all the way back. He was so emotional that he cried in the endzone, and when the reporter interviewed him after the game.
But the real memorable quote came from Marty (who, now that I think of it, looks a lot like Dingy Harry Reid), who was jubilant, as if he'd won a Super Bowl (yeah, rite), and gave this memorable (and now, applicable) quote: "I TOLD YOU THEY'D F**KING FOLD!!!"
Because too many Republicans want exactly the same things the Democrats do only they have to lie to get elected, and these 7 RINOS are just the tip of the ice berg. We could elect 85 Republicans in '06 and have the same problem (not having 51 votes to change the rules.)
