I think Warner being one of the seven annoys me more than even McCain. Warner should know better, but he's what, 78 now, and feels he can now do or say anything he wants, as he most likely won't run again. Too bad though, that he has to take his party down with him.
Warners current term has been the furthest to the left of any of them. Ive had some correspondence from him that sounded like it came from Senator Dianne Feinsteins desk. One in particular comes to mind, when I questioned his support of the assault weapons ban. He replied that it has been proven to save lives. When I again wrote and asked for some data to back up the claim, nothing was forthcoming. It was the first time his office failed to answer my query.
I could have understood if his explanation had something to do with the give and take of politics bit it didnt.
