Frist had the votes before McLame went behind his back andx peeled off a few RINOS.

The Dems ALWAYS stick tohether, but prior to this coup de tat, LIEberman was on board with the GOPers, to vote for the nuclear option.

Unless First suddenly growns a spine, not a one of the gang of 7, will feel any repercussions from Frist.

After reading the compromise, we really are back where we started except they just gave us a 3 run or 7 run lead, depending on how you look at it.

Can't prove that assertion at all. MSM pondered he had the votes, but Frist was never assured of the votes. Lisa Murkowski and Arlen were wavering.

Snowe, Chaffee and Collins were with McCain and Lindsay all along. Not sure about DeWine, since I go out of my way to ignore the runt.
