Please explain to me why a deal that results in the statement from the "People for the American Way" clowns below and a paid TV spot by Harry Reid bashing the President is good for the Senate, the party or the country? Does any of this rhetoric sound like a fair compromise was reached or that the idiots on the hill got taken in again. What exactly did Republicans gain?
Please remove my name from mailing lists (not that I've contributed since the election given the squishiness that you've shown on any number of issues since) until you figure out how to control your own members of Congress. I am embarassed to be a Republican today.
You hit the nail on the head with your letter. Both my wife and I have told RNC callers to screw off because of the RINOs. After this, I won't even be that kind if the phone rings. I see lots of others on this threat "rationalizing" the great victory we achieved. Meanwhile, Ralph Nees, Harry Reid and the rest of the left-wing (Democraps plus spineless RINOs) are laughting their asses off at us. No more!
