Most of us are angry at the compromise and we all have hoped that the Senate would have voted to end the filibuster once and for all. However the 3 judges out of five that were approved for an up and down votes were the most brutalized by the left, Prior, Owens, and Rogers Brown, much more than the other two who we do not their fate Saad and Meyers. Most of us do not even know much about these two judges and they were never in the middle of the liberal attack machine. Moreover this will make it hard for the Democrats to filibuster other judges because in their mind these 3 judges approved in this compromise deal were the worst of the worst according to them. These 3 judges were very high standards for the extreme circumstances, and I do not know how the Democrats can consider other future nominees as more extreme judges. Moreover President Bush can appoint these three judges to the US SUPREME COURT if there are three vacancies and the Democrats cannot do anything about it.
PS: When the up and down vote on the 3 judges will be in the coming weeks, the vast majority of us who are raising hell on this thread, will be very happy.
