SE of DC, too. I just heard f-16s roaring around to my west, toward the Patuxent River.
They were over the Colesville area heading north (away from DC) I believe they escorted him to the airport in Gaithersburg.
I was thinking it was just a training patrol. It wasn't nearly as window rattling as the previous episode.
Seems like a fine for any unauthorized incursions into restricted DC airspace would be in order. Something in the neighborhood of the cost of the "escorts" would be appropriate. If a person is "qualified" to fly a plane, they should be qualified to know where the heck they are flying....
