Tomorrow they'll chant, "Death to America"

They did in 1979, too.

Absent from muslim/arab lands is a true peoples' revolution, complete with arms and sufficient will to see it to the end.

Thus far in Iran, it keeps repeating like a university demonstration.

Insanity: Doing the same thing, over and over, expecting different results.

Guns + will to use them = something different

Iran is the cradle of monotheism.

Damn straight! And Islam has made them the furthest thing from the great proud Persian empire. I just don't understand how they let that happen to them, and I fear we may be letting it happen to us.

,,, a good friend of mine has a brother there at present, in Tehran. He said they're very friendly and hospitable people. He married one. There's anti-American sentiment in the middle east but not everywhere. What needs changing in Iran is the regime.

Go, Iranian freedom fighters!

[I wish we could send substantial aid, but all
we got a surplus of right now are lying editors and reporters, and illegal immigrants.]

Stay safe. I will pray for you.

The Iranians I have known have been absolutly the salt of the earth nicest people. They are very interested in talking about family...somewhat of a badge of honor to them. They seem very concerned with being good neighbors and living by the rules. Granted, all of them were pre-revolution Iranians, so maybe my experience isn't typical.

,,, my personal experiences recently have been more with Iraqis. I've formed a very favourable opinion of them as immigrants. The ones I've met work hard. If you smile when you're talking with them they seem to relax more and they're always happy with any help or info you can give them.
