THE Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) is currently investigating the Jamaat-al-Muslimeen for its alleged drug running operations out of the United States.
A reliable DEA source told the Daily Express that the DEA has been looking at certain operations of the Jamaat for quite some time now and has secured the cooperation of a confidential informant who once worked for the organisation. This informant (name known) has been working closely with the DEA in exchange for a new identity and new life under the witness protection programme. The informant has been feeding the DEA information for over five years as the DEA continues its investigation into several illegal practices by the Jamaat-al-Muslimeen emanating from the United States. Three big names within the Jamaat are the main focus of the DEA's ongoing investigation, the Daily Express has learnt.
A source from another US law enforcement agency would neither confirm nor deny if they have been working closely with the DEA sharing information about the Jamaat-al-Muslimeen and certain key figures within the organisation. The Sunday Express has however learnt that this other law agency has in fact passed on key information to assist the DEA in their investigation. At present Muslimeen member Clive Lancelot Small aka Olive Enyahooma-El is being tried at a US federal court in Fort Lauderdale, Florida for conspiring to possess and possession of machine guns and firearm silencers in the United States.
