This is what I believe. You may not but I do. You don’t have to believe it, I just want you to understand where I’m coming from.

Genesis 1,2 is the basis for Science instruction. From the Creation account we find 10 basic Science categories:

* Botany - the science of plants (v.11-13)
* Astronomy - the science of the heavens (v. 6-8; 14-19)
* Zoology - the science of animals, birds and fish (v. 20-25)
* Anatomy - the science of human structure (v. 26, 2:7)
* Physiology - the science of human function (v. 27, 28)
* Geology - the science of earth formations (v. 1, 9, 10)
* Chemistry - the science of elements (v. 3)
* Physics - the science of movement (v. 20)
* Meteorology - the science of weather (v. 7, 2:6)
* Oceanography - the science of the seas (v. 7, 20-23)

So you see...this is why I can say that the Bible is the basis for science. Again, it does not have information on acids but it is the reason why science exists.

Except that man was engaged in scientific research long before the Bible was written. Talk to the Chinese, for instance.
